IN EVERY HEARTBEAT by Kim Vogel Sawyer - BOOK REVIEW
The story begins in 1914, just prior to the outbreak of WWI. It involves three friends who grew up in the same orphanage, and head off to college together, each with a special plan for their future. "Libby Conley hopes to become a famous journalist. Peter Leidig believes God has called him into full-time ministry. And Bennett Martin plans to pledge a fraternity, find a place to belong, and have as much fun as possible." But with the outbreak of war imminent, the friends' differences begin to divide them. "When Libby makes a shocking discovery about Pete's family, will it drive a final wedge between the friends or bond them in ways they had never anticipated?" (Excerpted from back cover)
Those who have enjoyed Kim's past novels will welcome this new one to their collection. For others not yet acquainted with her writing, this book is a great introduction to the writings of Kim Vogel Sawyer.
